Ten years ago, the short-term rental industry was very different from what it is today. Professionalization was still at an early stage, operational technology was limited, and many challenges were handled reactively.
That’s the context in which Roomonitor was born. We started with a very clear goal: to solve a real problem affecting both property owners and neighbors — noise. We were pioneers in launching the world’s first noise-monitoring device for short-term rental apartments, but we quickly learned an essential lesson: detection alone was not enough. Support mattered.
From Technology to Operational Support
Over the past ten years, the industry has evolved significantly — and we’ve evolved with it.
We moved from offering a single device to building a complete operational structure, combining technology, automation, remote assistance, and on-site teams. We introduced 24/7 agents, guest call management, remote and in-person access services, check-ins, concierge services, and field support across multiple European cities.
All driven by one constant idea: being there for the industry when it needs us most.
